Dry skin isn't always
missing water.
Skin makes its own oil. It always has. It's the thing a 25-year-old's face holds onto without thinking about it.
After about 40, skin makes a lot less of that oil. That's when most women start noticing their old routine stopped holding the way it used to.
Here's the thing about most creams. They add water. Water can't replace oil.
Only oil can replace oil.
Tallow is almost the same fat skin makes on its own. Same kind of fat. Same structure.
So when you put it on, it doesn't sit on top like a regular cream. It absorbs in. The body recognizes it.
That's the difference between a cream that disappears by noon and one that holds all day.
Questions you're already asking.
Does it smell like beef?
No. The tallow is properly rendered and whipped with manuka honey. You'll smell honey and a subtle warmth — not a steakhouse.
Will it feel greasy?
For about 2-3 minutes, yes. Then it absorbs in. That's how you know it's working — a regular cream sits on top. This one soaks in.
Will it break me out?
For oily or acne-prone skin, tallow may not be the right fit. This is made for dry, mature, or sensitive skin.
What real skin looks like after switching.
"My face finally holds something again."
I'd been trying new creams for almost two years and nothing held more than an hour. This one absorbs in and stays through the whole day. I can do my morning routine once and not think about it again until bed. I can't remember the last time that was true.
"Like a cashmere blanket for your face."
A friend recommended it. I was skeptical about the tallow part but I gave it a try. Once it warms on your fingers, it goes on smooth and comforting, almost like a cashmere blanket. Not greasy. And it lasts — I don't reach for anything else during the day.
"I researched tallow for months before trying."
I'd been reading about beef tallow for months before finally pulling the trigger. The scent is faint and a little goes a long way. Two weeks in and this is the first cream I haven't had to reapply halfway through the morning. Wish I'd ordered it sooner.
"Both my daughters ordered their own jar."
A few months in and I've stopped layering three products every morning. Just this one jar does the whole job. Both of my daughters watched me switch, asked what I was using, and ordered their own jars. That was the moment I knew it was working for real.
"My husband asked what I was doing different."
My boyfriend's mum recommended it. I'd tried so many things I almost didn't bother. Two weeks in, my husband — my boyfriend at the time — asked what I was doing differently. He never notices anything. That was when I knew I wasn't imagining it.
"My cream drawer is down to one jar."
I counted eleven products in my bathroom drawer before this arrived. Eleven. Now it's one. One jar, four ingredients, and my morning routine takes two minutes instead of fifteen. I didn't realize how much mental space skincare was taking until I stopped chasing the next thing.
"My foundation stopped cracking by lunch."
This is the small thing nobody warned me about. I'd do my makeup in the morning and by 11am it would start cracking around my nose and mouth. I'd be in the office bathroom patching it up. That stopped the first week I started using this. I haven't thought about it since.
"I won't go back to regular moisturizers."
I'd been looking for a moisturizer with no chemicals, no fragrance, no junk. This was it. Easy to apply, melts in without feeling greasy, works for both face and body. Six months in and I won't go back.
"I've tried other tallow. This one is different."
I've gone through maybe four other tallow balms in the last year. Some of them smelled off. Some of them felt waxy. This one goes on clean and actually holds. I'm not sure what they're doing differently in how it's whipped, but it works and the others didn't.
"Threw out seven bottles the day this arrived."
I'd been holding onto half-empty bottles in case I needed to go back to something. The day this arrived, I opened the jar, put some on, and by the end of the day I walked back to the bathroom and threw all seven of them in the trash. I haven't missed any of them.
60 days. No drama.
Try it for 60 days. If your skin doesn't love it, email us and we'll refund every penny.
No hoops. No "send it back first." No drama.
We'd rather lose a jar than have you keep something that doesn't work for you.
Still have questions?
How long does one jar last?
2-3 months with daily use on face and neck. Longer if you use it only at night. A little goes a long way.
Can I use this on my body too?
Yes. Face, neck, hands, elbows, anywhere dry. Many customers use it head to toe.
Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. 4 ingredients, no fragrance, no chemicals. Tallow is one of the gentlest balms you can find. If most products cause a reaction, this is worth trying.
What does it smell like?
Warm honey with a subtle natural scent. It's not perfumed and it doesn't smell like meat. The manuka honey is the dominant note.
Will this clog my pores?
For dry, normal, or mature skin — no. Tallow has a low comedogenic rating. For oily or acne-prone skin, we recommend patch testing first.
Where is the tallow sourced?
From grass-fed cattle. The tallow is whipped with manuka honey from New Zealand, cold-pressed olive oil, and calendula flower extract.
How should I store it?
Room temperature. It may firm up in cooler weather and soften in warmth — that's completely normal for a natural balm with no synthetic stabilizers.
Can I use this with other skincare products?
Yes, but most customers find they don't need to. That's kind of the point.
Your skin changed.
This was made for that.
4 ingredients. One jar. The only moisturizer you'll need.
